Two companies. One product.

Nox Æterna operates through two affiliated entities. The UK company contracts with customers in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. The US company contracts with customers in the United States. Both share the same operations team, the same code, and the same standards.

Directors & officers.

The companies are governed by a small board. The same individuals serve both entities; this is deliberate and disclosed for the avoidance of doubt.

Statutory designations.

The following appointments are made under the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR, and under equivalent US state and federal law:

• UK GDPR representative (for non-UK controllers). Not applicable — the UK entity is itself UK-established.
• EU GDPR Article 27 representative. DataRep, Castle Treasures, Castle Street, Dublin 2, D02 EH96, Ireland (acting on our behalf for EEA data subjects).
• Designated agent under 17 U.S.C. § 512 (DMCA). The General Counsel, c/o the registered agent above. Notices may also be sent to legal@noxaeterna.com.
• CCPA-designated contact. privacy@noxaeterna.com.

Intellectual property.

“Nox Æterna”, the NÆ monogram, the “One payment. Your data, gone.” tagline, the “Sanctum” design system and the layout of this website are trademarks and protected works of Nox Æterna Ltd., used by Nox Æterna Inc. under licence. A UK trademark application is on file with the Intellectual Property Office under application number UK00004189362. A corresponding USPTO application is on file under serial number 98-471-203.

You are welcome to link to this site without prior permission. You are not welcome to scrape it, frame it, or reproduce the design system in derivative commercial work.

How to reach us.

For routine customer queries, the fastest channel is email. We do not operate a telephone hotline by design — we keep the team small and the responses written and dated. Postal mail is welcome and is read every Tuesday and Friday.

If your enquiry is genuinely urgent — for example, you are seeking emergency removal of content that places a person in physical danger — mark the subject line URGENT · SAFETY and we will route it to a duty officer within four hours.

Online dispute resolution.

Pursuant to Article 14(1) of Regulation (EU) 524/2013, the European Commission operates an online dispute resolution platform reachable at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not currently obliged or willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board outside the routes set out in our Terms of Service §12.
